Mink | AboutMink Boutique has been a dream of Carla Mink's for many, many years. Carla began managing her aunt's boutique nut-and-candy shoppe when she was just 15. Eighteen years later, after several years of retail management, Carla finally decided it was time to venture out on her own... and Mink Boutique was actualized! Carla has always been inspired by the opulence of period books and films. Graduating with her major in English, she found herself especially attracted to such authors as E.M Forester, Edith Wharton and Henry James. Carla saw the film Marie Antoinette while writing her business plan, and the marriage of Sophia Coppola's lush film sets with a modern soundtrack struck her as the ultimate inspiration for a ladies' boutique!
